What are you looking for in the Church?

What do Young Adults want from the Church? It’s a question the church needs to answer.

“Remain Calm” or David’s Really, Really, Really Bad Awful Day.

There is an account in I Samuel 29-30 that I had never spent much time thinking about before this summer.  The context unfolds after a bunch of things we are familiar with:

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith: and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:17-19

God’s Faithfulness

“I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.”

Wondering about the Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How’s of College?

AFLC Youth Ministries staff walk you through some of the basic Q’s college students have.

How can I know for SURE that I am Saved?

How can I know God’s will in my life?

What should I look for when I check out a Church?

Earth is huge! Does God really mean Jesus is the only way? What about the people in Bora Bora who haven’t heard of Him?

How tolerant should I be of tolerance?

My roommate is little crazy... The whole party scene thing... “Hey! Who is THAT?!?”... My friends’ choices... Where do I draw the line?

As a result, we are no longer to be children tossed here and there by waves, and carried about be every wind of doctrine, by trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:14-16
