so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith: and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. |

Psalm 57:9-11 “I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.”
Over the years, and especially in more recent times, I have seen God’s faithfulness first hand. He has brought me through deaths of loved ones, false accusations, and equipped me for His service.
God’s faithfulness has been seen through all generations. Though some do not recognize His faithfulness in their life, God is ever-present and all knowing. He knows our situations and circumstances. He understands our needs. At times He allows people to go through trials, but it is because He knows that we need to be challenged and strengthened. God does not wish destruction on us for His pleasure, but for our gain.
We are all called by God for a purpose and that starts when He calls us into a relationship with Him. His most incredible act of faithfulness is described in I John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
No matter where we are in life, what is going on, or how bad things are, God is still faithful and He still desires us to trust in Him. ~ Emily Walker |
