Jeff is a graduate of Simon Greenleaf School of Law (M.A. in Christian Apologetics, 1984) and Stanford Univ. (B.A. 1972). In 1972 Jeff began an 11-year career with the Vikings that included four trips to the Pro Bowl and three Super Bowls.

In 1984, Jeff began work as the Minnesota Search Area Director. Jeff and his wife, Dawn, have four grown children and live in Edina.
