Reaching the uttermost parts of the earth for the Lord through aviation services.

FLAPS Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to reaching lost souls for the Lord Jesus Christ through the provision of aviation services such as transportation for AFLC staff.

May 2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the FLAPS aviation ministry, which operates under the Missions Department of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations. God has richly blessed this ministry over its first decade of existence as we support the AFLC through the provision of aviation services for staff.

Airplanes have been called “time machines,” since their use results in considerable time savings. Hundreds of hours of road travel are saved each year through small plane use. A quick check of the flight records show that in the last twelve months, FLAPS airplanes flew to destinations in Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Alaska, and four Canadian provinces.

Support for this ministry takes many forms. Many people are praying faithfully for FLAPS, some have donated airplanes, and others support this work financially. Those who support this unique ministry with their God-given resources, help convey the Gospel message of Jesus Christ!
