The airplane is one of many tools of ministry that the Lord uses to accomplish His purposes.  Trips are frequently made in one day that would take 2-3 days by automobile.

Shortly after its inception, FLAPS acquired a Cessna 150 and loaned it to an AFLC pastor, Tom Olson, who was serving a mission in southwest Alaska.  This two-seated airplane travels about 100 mph.  The C-150 was later sold to a young missionary pilot when the Alaska mission upgraded to a larger airplane.

In 2001, a Christian man and wife from the Midwest sold FLAPS a low time, six-seated, 1975 Piper Cherokee Six airplane at a discounted price and very attractive purchase terms.  The Cherokee Six carries up to six people at about 155 mph.

In 2003, a Christian medical doctor donated a fast two-seated, 1991 SX300 airplane that carries up to two people at about 260 mph.

In early 2007, another great blessing was received when the Richard & Edna Reinke family from Nebraska gifted a low time, exceptionally clean, 1976 Cessna 182 Skylane airplane to FLAPS.  This airplane carries four people at about 145 mph.

The airplanes are making a significant contribution to increase productivity and efficiency as they are used to transport personnel and cargo around the country.
