Faith: With a desire to be obedient to Christ, is an essential for FLAPS supporters.
"And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."  (Hebrews 11:6)

Love: Loving unbelievers, and caring for those we come into contact with, is our watchword. "We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brethen."  (1 John 3:16)

Availability: God looks to our availability, not necessarily to our ability. "Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?'  Then I said, 'Here am I.  Send me!'"(Isaiah 6:8)

Prayer: Knee time is essential for growing Christians.  We count on each FLAPS supporter to be a prayer warrior. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."  (Philippians 4:6)

Servanthood: Jesus did not come to be served but to serve. "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."  (Mark 10:45)  As saved sinners, we are called to use our gifts to reach others for Him. "As each one has received a special gift, emply it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."  (1 Peter 4:10)
