The 2013 budget for the WMF General Fund helps with:
• Pray for God’s guidance for the National Board in all areas of ministry to the AFLC women. At the AFLC’s beginning, women banded together to form the Women’s Missionary Federation. Through your gifts to the General Fund, this work continues. These gifts help to fund the necessary expenses to keep the WMF functioning. The National Board prepares, prints and distributes the Bible studies, newsletters (Helping Hand), WMF web site (www.aflc.org/women), e-news blog, pastor’s wives blog (Heartline), Fall Resource Packets, and Welcome Packets to new congregations. Your support for the administrative costs will cover the salary for the Executive Secretary and stipends for the President and Treasurer. Other necessities such as convention expenses, travel, teleconference calls, office equipment and supplies, communications between District and National officers are also included.
• The WMF is committed to providing $500.00 per month to the Director of Development position. Your gift will provide the needed funds to support this position.
• The WOC Fund covers the salary and travels of the Women’s Outreach Coordinator. (Presently that role is being filled by various board members and their expenses are paid from this fund.)
CONFERENCE OFFERINGS (June)
• Offerings from Conference will go as designated to the different projects of the WMF. Our theme this year is:
Forever O LORD... Your Settled Word Your Enduring Faithfulness. Psalm 119:89-90 We trust that each of your WMF’s will consider the items on the transmittal form as you give your offerings each month. We must work together to spread the good news of Jesus to a world that is dying and going to an eternity of total separation from God without Him. What will you do? Please mail contributions with the transmittal form to the National WMF Treasurer, Lois Grothe. Please make checks payable to WMF of AFLC.
