God has provided my husband with a strong group of brothers in Christ as he studies and grows in his daily classes. Our family has enjoyed being surrounded by other seminary families where we can share our hearts and our hurts. Every two weeks during the school year, the seminary and faculty wives meet together for fellowship. I have been so encouraged to look around the room and see how God has faithfully brought us all, with similar and different personalities and backgrounds, to this point in our lives.

Along with the fellowship, we alternate studying books of the Bible and books on ministry. These studies have been an invaluable time to talk through thoughts and ideas with each other as well as those who are more seasoned in this field of ministry. In addition to campus fellowship, our family has been so blessed by the WMF both nationally and through various congregations. Hearing that we are being brought before the Lord in prayer while also being supported through financial gifts has touched our hearts and reminded us of God’s faithfulness.

Looking forward to life beyond seminary, I can say with confidence in God’s faithfulness that we will get to meet even more of our family in Christ and that the feeling of “home” will get stretched to more places than before.
