ors, adults, children and staff from across our nation! 1864 people attended the 2009 Convention, 1,130 Students, 276 Counsel
ors, 130 Staff/Supp
ort Staff/Speakers, 244 Adults, and 84 Children.

orning began with room devotions followed by Juni
or High and Seni
or Bible Study sessions in the book of Colossians focusing on being a disciple of Jesus firmly planted in the Wo
rd of God.
Following M
orning Bible Study times over 40 Small Group Electives were offered on a variety of topics pertaining to today's youth and culture, dealing with hard hitting issues and encouragement in their spiritual walk with the L
ord.
Afternoons saw several sp
orts tournaments through out the week, plus activities such as a chalk drawing presentation, an art room, Christian movies, a talent show, AFLBS Ambassad
or and Majesty concerts available to participate in.

Wednesday Evening Speaker Past
or Tom Brock shared from Psalm 1:2 "Why and How to Read the Bible," what reading the Bible will do for you and how you should read the Bible, followed by an open mic question and answer time.
Thursday Evening Speaker Past
or Bob Lee shared how to be "Firmly Planted to Survive and Thrive" From Philippians 3:7-10 and 2 Timothy 1:12 to be Firmly Planted in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. From 2 Timothy 1:12 and Jude 24 to be Firmly Planted in the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. From John 8:31-32 and 2 Timothy 1:13 to be Firmly Planted in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Friday Evening Speaker Nick Vujicic of Life Without Limbs shared from Jeremiah 29:11-13 and 2 Timothy 3:16. Nick shared his testimony of life without limbs and God's w
ork in his life, that God has a hope, plan and future f
or our life. He challenged us to "stop asking God to change your circumstances and ask Him to change your heart."
Friday Evening saw an incredible response to the L
ord’s call on the hearts and lives of those in attendance as hundreds went f
orward to commit and recommit their lives to Christ.
The week was concluded with band 33 Miles following the Friday night Evening Service.
It was an incredible week! Praise the Lord for all He has done and will continue to do.
